The story begins with a re-sleeved political operative who is assigned to solve a murder case for another chance at life. Despite the rabid fan base, Netflix ditched the show after Season 2.

2. The OA (2016–2019)

The OA is a wild ride. A young woman Prairie Johnson, a blind girl reappears after having been missing for seven years. When she disappeared, she was blind. Now, she returned to her hometown with her eyesight mysteriously. She’s strangely different and refers to herself as “The OA” and that was what made it so binge-able.
A mysterious story about, well, we don’t want to spoil too much. It’s mesmerizing to watch, even if it can be a little frustrating at times. It’s well worth the two-season ride. Perfect for fans of science fiction, with great acting, and good TV. Watch trailer here.

3. The End of the F***ing World (2017-2019)

If you liked shows like “Fargo” and “Skins,” this could be right up your alley.
The End of the F**ing World masters the teen road trip. Starring Alex Lawther and Jessica Barden as star-crossed somethings James and Alyssa, this two-season romp blends humor, heart, and a classic rock soundtrack to punchy effect.

The first episode follows a woman who lays bare her life in a first session with a psychologist. The story then moves on to her psychologist seeing her clinician, mostly discussing how she feels about seeing a veiled patient.
Ethos is an emotional series that brilliantly highlights the diversity of Turkish society. It follows a variety of intriguing characters, all of whom are somehow connected to a conservative woman named Meryem. This show is one of the most underrated Netflix shows.

5. The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell (2018)
